The approach
The body was my first passion. Long before I read a birth chart I was running, lifting, training martial arts and practising yoga. For me, training is not only about getting stronger. It is also about understanding how the body moves, learns and responds.
I worked as a personal trainer for about six years, and since then massage, bodywork and coaching have added to what I know. That has changed how I look at movement. I pay attention to how you do a movement, not just whether it gets done.
Sometimes the next step is not more capacity. It is learning to use a capacity that is already there.
And sometimes there is no problem at all. You simply want to get stronger, run farther or enjoy moving. That is just as good a reason.
Practical

- About 60–90 minutes

Strength and access
Having strength is one thing. Being able to feel it, coordinate it and use it is another. A lot of what fascinates me lives in that gap.
Movement as conversation
We change position, speed, range or focus and ask: what changed? How did it feel? Can you find it again?
A programme that serves you
The programme should serve the person. The person should not have to fit a programme just because it worked for someone else.
The goal is not simply to tell people how to move, but to help them build a more capable, confident and informed relationship with their bodies.Gísli
